Diversity has always been part of the A.T. Kearney DNA, and the Latino and Hispanic Network (LHN) is one of the main pillars of the strong commitment to this goal. The network is composed of members from all consultant and management services levels with Latin America and Iberian roots or interests. The LHN supports the identification and recruiting of top Latino and Hispanic candidates as well as their development and retention. Creating an inclusive and diverse environment is also a main objective of the LHN, and for this reason we hold multiple office-specific events to strengthen bonds between members of the network. We also host a North America annual conference to bring together members from across the U.S. to discuss topics of interest relating to the Latino and Hispanic community.
At A.T. Kearney, diversity supports our drive for excellence and deepens our positive impact on society at large. The Latino and Hispanic Network is a key group within our firm that helps to attract and encourage diversity, and supports the firm’s commitment to diversity stated in Vision 2020.
"LHN is a great asset to our Latino and Hispanic consultants since it allows all of us to create a network of relationships where we all help each other, stay connected to the major developments happening at the Firm that are relevant to our community and create a venue where ideas and opportunities are initiated, developed and shared among all its members. From a personal standpoint, LHN has helped me to find new project opportunities and allowed the platform for me to be an active contributor to the growth of AT Kearney consultants in the US." —Arsenio Martinez, partner from Washington DC office and part of the LHN Leadership team
“The LHN has been critical for my development throughout my career. Early on to expand my internal network and get candid advice on how to navigate the firm. Over time, the network started to provide me with leadership opportunities, allowing me to expand my comfort zone in a safe environment. Now as a leader in the network I have a chance to work with my peers to ensure diversity continues to be at the core of who we are at A.T. Kearney.”
—Andres Mendoza Pena, partner from Chicago and also part of the LHN Leadership team
What we do
The Latino and Hispanic Network works continuously to develop and support members throughout their career to enable them to achieve their full professional potential within the firm, and to establish A.T. Kearney as one of the most attractive companies for the Latino and Hispanic community. Some of the key activities that help to achieve this objective include:
- Recruiting: In collaboration with A.T. Kearney’s recruiting team, the Latino & Hispanic Network attracts outstanding, diverse talent through on-campus recruiting and national Latino and Hispanic conferences.
- Professional development: Training events, guest speakers, and individual mentoring provide important opportunities for the network to support its members’ professional development and ongoing success.
- Teambuilding: Social gatherings foster a spirit of camaraderie among employees whose unique backgrounds and perspectives contribute to a lively, energetic firm culture.
A.T. Kearney honors the people who fight every day for a more inclusive society by participating in the 2017 New York City Pride March. But for each step forward, we are reminded there is still a long way to go.
