Sue’s consulting focus is on operations, including customer service, supply chain, manufacturing strategy, and distribution. In her almost twenty years with A.T. Kearney, she has continued to build her expertise in these areas.

Her recent client engagements include, for example:

  • Leading the development of a global supply chain strategy for a $12 billion food manufacturer
  • Managing the development of a distribution and inventory strategy for a retail auto parts repair chain
  • Leading an engagement for a major consumer products firm to develop a distribution strategy that provided a competitive advantage in serving their wholesale and retail customers
  • Managing an engagement for a major manufacturer to identify and implement supply chain cost reductions of 12% annually

She earned an M.B.A. from Michigan State University with a focus in materials and logistics management, and a B.S. in criminal justice, also Michigan State University. After gaining her undergraduate degree, she worked for the Michigan State Police for three years.

Sue is active on not-for-profit boards. She serves as vice president of the advisory board for the Tauber Manufacturing Institute at the University of Michigan. She also participated on the board of the Huron Valley Girl Scout Council, which provides leadership for 14,000 girls.

Sue began her career in distribution at age 11 by helping to deliver milk door-to-door for her family’s dairy business. Today she is a member of the Council of Logistics Management (CLM) and is certified by American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
