Andrew Walberer

Andrew Walberer is a partner in A.T. Kearney’s Energy and Process Industries Practice. Andrew joined A.T. Kearney in 2000 and has over fifteen years of industry (consumer goods and automotive), academic, and consulting experience. He is based in Chicago.

Andrew's consulting focuses on complexity management as well as portfolio strategy, supply, supply chain, and risk management with an emphasis on the chemicals and consumer goods industries.

Representative engagements include:

  • Multiple complexity management and cost-to-serve initiatives for business units of leading global chemical companies, including building a sustainable profit transparency multi-cube
  • Multiple simplification initiatives for business units of leading CPG companies, focusing on brands, products, packaging, formulas, and raw materials
  • Product management excellence initiative for leading global polyurethanes business
  • Supply risk profiling and planning program for Americas region of leading global CPG company
  • Development of near and long term supply chain strategy for one of world’s largest chemicals/plastics companies

Andrew has published numerous articles in management journals and spoken at multiple industry conferences on complexity management, risk management, commodity management, and supply chain management.

Andrew holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois, and a B.S.E. from the University of Michigan.
