A.T. Kearney's Paul Laudicina Named One of Top 25 Most Influential Consultants by Consulting Magazine

Magazine Cites 80-year-old Firm’s post-buyout renaissance

CHICAGO (August 23, 2007)— Global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney announced that Paul A. Laudicina, managing officer and chairman of the board, was selected as one of the Top 25 Consultants by Consulting Magazine in its 2007 annual ranking. The magazine contends that this year’s top 25 consultants reflect "all that’s right in consulting" as the industry adapts to the accelerating pace of global business. Mr. Laudicina was also named to this list in 2005.

In the featured cover-story profile, Mr. Laudicina discusses how A.T. Kearney is reconnecting with its 80-year legacy following the firm’s management buyout from EDS in early 2006. As Mr. Laudicina explains, "We’re getting back to the essential rightness of what we do with our clients in this empowered, enabled, global environment so that we provide the quality of insight our clients need to be successful."

Mr. Laudicina is a frequent speaker and author of numerous publications. His most recent book, World Out of Balance (2005, McGraw-Hill) was named one of the 30 best business books of 2005 by Soundview and has been translated into more than six languages. The book draws on lessons from two decades of client work in the areas of scenario-based strategic planning and risk management.

He joined A.T. Kearney in 1991 and served as Managing Director of A.T. Kearney’s Global Business Policy Council before assuming his current role. The Council is among the consulting industry’s longest-standing strategic services for CEOs focused on identifying global growth opportunities and managing business risks.

Mr. Laudicina serves on the Board of the Executives’ club of Chicago, the Business Advisory Board of the International Board for Migration, and the President’s Council of the University of Tokyo. He is also a Principal on the Council on Excellence in Government and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations

The Top 25 consultants were selected by the editors of Consulting Magazine from more than 300 eligible consultants who were nominated by their clients, co-workers and industry experts.
