A.T. Kearney's Daniel Mahler Named One of Top 25 Consultants by Consulting Magazine

CHICAGO (June 2, 2008) — Global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney today announced that Daniel Mahler, a partner and the firm’s global coordinator for Sustainability, was selected as one of the Top 25 Consultants by Consulting Magazine in its annual listing for 2008.

The magazine selected Mahler because of his efforts to establish A.T. Kearney's sustainability initiatives, both with clients and inside the firm itself. It cited the firm's 90-member sustainability practice and investment in sustainability research and intellectual capital as being "at the forefront of the sustainability movement." The magazine also recognized Mahler for his leadership on sustainability within A.T. Kearney, noting the firm's pledge to be carbon neutral by 2010 and its work to establish alternative client delivery models aimed at providing its consulting services in a more sustainable way.

A native of Germany, Mahler joined A.T. Kearney in 1998 has been based in A.T. Kearney offices in New York, London, and Berlin. His work focuses on sustainability strategy development and transformation, collaborative value enhancement, complexity management, merger integration and general operations improvements.

He was lead author of the recent white paper "Chain Reaction," which includes findings of A.T. Kearney's joint study with the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) on sustainability and supply chains. He is a frequent speaker on sustainability topics for industry organizations.

Daniel earned both a Ph.D. and M.A. in communications from the University of Hannover, Germany.
