Laurent Guerard

Laurent Guerard has over 20 years of management consulting experience, and leads the Transportation, Travel and Infrastructure practice in the Americas. He is focused on corporate and business unit strategy, marketing strategy, and corporate transformation engagements. In the transportation industry, he has worked in the third-party logistics, shipping, express/package, equipment manufacturing, equipment leasing, rail, and trucking sectors.

  • Multi-year transformation program for a truck leasing and logistics company: corporate strategy, business and marketing strategy, overhead cost reduction, reorganization, and operational restructuring
  • Competitive assessment and business strategy, maintenance strategy, and procurement strategy for a rail equipment leasing company
  • Strategy development for all major divisions of an international postal services company, including the letter mail and package businesses
  • Development of a growth strategy and business model for a major business unit of a U.S. integrator

Before joining A.T. Kearney, Laurent was a partner with the Monitor Group, a strategy consulting firm. He was also a research associate with National Economic Research Associates, an economic consulting firm.

Laurent earned an M.B.A in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also has a B.A. in economics from Williams College. He grew up in Asia, South America, and Europe, and speaks fluent French and English.
