Jim Singer

Partner, Americas

Jim Singer is a partner and member of A.T. Kearney’s Board of Directors. Previously, Jim served as co-leader of the Americas Consumer Products and Retail Practice and leader of the New York office.   

Recently, Jim led A.T. Kearney’s support for the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) to develop a blueprint for a Cleantech industry within the city.  He is a long time member of the Partnership for New York City, where he was awarded a David Rockefeller Fellowship for his accomplishments in advancing public-private partnerships in the city.

Jim has helped many of the world’s leading organizations on issues of strategy and marketing. He is the author of numerous articles, including “Is the Future Obsolete?” in the June 2013 issue of World Future Review.

Prior to joining A.T. Kearney, Jim was a research chemist and assistant to Nobel laureate Bruce Merrifield at the Rockefeller University in New York City. He earned his MBA from Dartmouth College and his bachelor’s degree from Williams College.
